Your privacy

The short version: I collect as little as possible, I use it only to do the thing you asked for, and I never sell it.

What I collect

Two things, and only when you hand them over. Your name and email if you send a message through the contact form, and your email if you subscribe to The JD Tutor Publication. That is it. Browsing the guides and the practice banks needs no account and no sign-up.

Why I have it

Your contact details are used to reply to you. Your subscription email is used to send you the Publication you asked for, and nothing else. I will not add you to a list you did not choose.

Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner

Site analytics run on Plausible, which is privacy-first and counts visits without cookies and without collecting anything that identifies you. Because the site sets no tracking cookies, there is nothing to consent to and no banner to click.

Who else handles your data

A few services help run the site and see only what they need to. Substack manages the Publication and holds subscriber emails, Netlify hosts the site, and Plausible provides the anonymous analytics. Each is bound by its own privacy policy. Beyond these I do not share your details with anyone, and I never sell them.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the Publication at any time using the link in any email. You can ask me what details I hold, or ask me to delete them, by emailing Joseph@TheJDTutor.com, and I will sort it out.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Questions about privacy come to the same address.
